Connect your AI assistant to your group calendar
Paste one link into Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that supports MCP connectors, and it can tell you what your group has planned, who is coming and who has not answered, add events and RSVP for you. It takes about two minutes. Junto is a group calendar where nobody needs an account or an app, and the AI connector is built in.
How do I connect my assistant?
1.Unlock your calendar
Open your calendar on tryjunto.app. If it is not unlocked yet, tap AI in the top bar and unlock it once: $4.99 plus tax, no subscription. Everyone on the calendar also gets unlimited members.

Tap AI, then Make my connection link, then Copy. The link is yours: your assistant acts as you. Keep it private, like a password.

What can I ask it?
Plain words work. Pick an example to see the conversation, including the Junto tool the assistant calls.
Can my assistant set up the calendar for me?
Yes. Copy this prompt into your assistant and it walks you through it: what the calendar is for, private or public, how many people, then the two links to open and share. With the free Junto connector at tryjunto.app/mcp it creates the calendar itself.
Setup prompt
Paste this into Claude, ChatGPT, Muse or any assistant. It guides you through making a Junto calendar, with or without the connector. With the Junto connector added, it is also built in as the prompt set_up_group_calendar.
Help me set up a shared group calendar on Junto (https://tryjunto.app). Find out what the calendar is for. About Junto: a shared calendar with RSVPs (going, maybe, not going). Nobody needs an account or an app: people open a link and type their name. Free for private calendars up to 8 members. A one-time unlock ($4.99 plus tax per calendar, no subscription) removes the member limit and lets an AI assistant read and add events. Public calendars have no member limit. Junto has no chat, no shopping lists and no two-way sync with Google or Apple Calendar, so say so if I ask for those. Please guide me like this, one short question at a time: 1. Ask what the calendar is for and what to call it (for example "Ski trip" or "Tuesday football"), and my first name as the group knows me. 2. Ask private or public. Private (the default) means only people with the invite link can join. Public means anyone with the link can see it, good for a club or venue. 3. Ask roughly how many people. If a private calendar will have more than 8, tell me about the one-time unlock before we start, so it is no surprise. 4. Create the calendar. If you have the Junto tools (connector https://tryjunto.app/mcp), call create_calendar. If not, send me to https://tryjunto.app, tell me to tap "Create a Junto" and walk me through the form. 5. Give me the two links clearly: first my private admin link, which I open myself and never share; then the invite link to paste in the group chat. Offer a short invite message I can copy. 6. Offer to plan the first events with me. On a free calendar I add them myself on the page; if I unlock it, you can add them for me. 7. If we need more than 8 people, or I want you to manage the calendar for me, call get_upgrade_link with the calendar link and its invite code, and give me the Stripe link. I pay myself; never pay for me. After paying I open https://tryjunto.app/<calendar>/connect, copy my personal connection link and add it to you as a connector. Keep it short and friendly. Do not invent features Junto does not have.
What does it cost?
Asking an assistant to create a new Junto calendar is free, and so is the calendar for up to 8 members. Reading and changing a calendar from your assistant comes with the one-time unlock: $4.99 plus tax per calendar, no subscription. The unlock also removes the member limit for everyone on it. If your group is over 8 people, your assistant can give you the payment link itself; you pay on Stripe, never the assistant.
What the assistant cannot do
- Delete events, remove members or change calendar settings. Do those in Junto.
- RSVP for other people. It only answers for you.
- Sync your Google or Apple Calendar both ways. Junto does not do that at all.
- Pay for you. It hands you a Stripe link.
Questions
Which AI assistants work with Junto?
Claude works today: claude.ai and the desktop app with a custom connector, and Claude Code with one command. Muse works too: it adds Junto as a custom connector with a server address and your API key. ChatGPT is being tested too, because its custom connectors are documented with OAuth sign-in. Other remote MCP apps work by URL
Does connecting an AI assistant cost money?
Creating a calendar through an assistant is free. Reading and changing a calendar from an assistant is part of the one-time unlock: $4.99 plus tax per calendar, no subscription. The same unlock removes the 8 member limit for everyone on that calendar.
What can the assistant do on my calendar?
It can list events, show who is going and who has not answered, list members, add events and RSVP for you. It acts as you, with the same rights you have in Junto. It cannot delete events, remove members or change settings.
I have more than one Junto. How do I connect them all?
Each calendar has its own connection link. Open each calendar, tap AI, make its link and add it as a separate connector with its own name, like Junto Football and Junto Ski trip. Your assistant then knows which calendar you mean. Each calendar needs its own unlock.
Is my connection link safe to share?
No. Treat it like a password for your spot on the calendar and paste it only into your own assistant. If it leaks, open Connect AI on your calendar and make a new link: the old one stops working at once.
